One honest limit on that answer. Because we bought lifetime rather than a recurring plan, we have not tested POVR’s monthly billing or its cancellation process. The site advertises “cancel anytime” on every tier. We can confirm the purchase worked. We cannot confirm what cancelling a recurring subscription is like, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
The doubt in search results is understandable. Look up this site and you get Trustpilot, Scamadviser, and a Reddit thread titled “Is povr.com a scam?”. Adult subscription sites have earned that suspicion collectively. There are also lookalike domains in circulation that copy POVR’s branding on addresses that are not povr.com, which is the one warning worth giving before you enter payment details anywhere.

The frustration is consistency. With content from 140 producers, the gap between the best and worst material is wide, and the newest, best-shot scenes are not necessarily what surfaces first.

POVR advertises in cents per day, which makes everything sound trivial. It is worth converting before you decide.

Every tier is shown against a struck-through higher price, currently a “$2.00 a day” list rate and a $1,500 lifetime rate. Read those as anchors rather than prices anyone pays. Promotional pricing in this category is close to permanent, and the sale rate is the real rate.
On lifetime specifically. At $299.95 it takes about three years to pay for itself against the yearly plan, or about twenty months against monthly. That maths only works if the site is still running and you are still using it, and a lifetime membership is worth exactly nothing if either stops being true. It suited us. It is the wrong first purchase for anyone who has not already established that they use VR regularly.
Where It Sits Against the Alternatives
Having used the main options, the honest ranking does not put POVR first.
SexLikeReal is the better site. If you are only going to pay for one, that is the one. It is the more polished product and the stronger platform, and saying otherwise to sell a subscription would be dishonest.
What POVR offers instead is breadth for the money. SLR is a better experience; POVR is a wider net. Setting It Up With an Interactive Toy Is the Real Problem
This is the part no other review of this site covers, and it is the thing most likely to decide whether you enjoy it.

Watching It on a Quest
On a Meta Quest the practical route is the browser rather than a native app, which is normal for adult VR and not specific to POVR. Content streams or downloads, and downloading is the better experience on anything less than a solid connection, because buffering inside a headset is far more disruptive than buffering on a screen.
POVR advertises up to 8K UHD at 60fps in both 180 and 360 degrees, on all three tiers. Read resolution claims across this whole category as a ceiling rather than an average.
